    Although I understand that an open source project needs money, the various bad experiences I've had with Redis, Bitnami, and Drone mean that I need to look into other possibilities. I am a staunch advocate of free software, and Forjeo (a Gitea clone) seems to be a good option. Investigation ongoing.

    Act runner is a pain in Kubernetes - it uses Docker in Docker and is not easy to scale when several jobs are in parallel.
    Done.io is a better choicce
